eh? it wasn't a rant :rotfl:

Are you telling me that cake in any form is healthy? Do you think that qualified chefs know anything about healthy eating or nutrition? Have you ever been in a professional kitchen?! Do you have any idea how much salt chefs use?!

I didn't say that sweeteners or additives are a good thing  how is it appropriate to give a child food designed for an athlete? Should said child have a protein shake in the morning?

It's highly unlikely that kids will burn off the amount of sugars, natural or not, being fed to them. Where do you think the increase in childhood type 2 diabetes is coming from? The kid didn't need the muffin, or the crisps. Why couldn't it have a banana instead?

I dont care how muych salt a chef uses - the lady you were ranting at made the cake herself - she didnt mention salt.

and oh my god - your a genious! - you must be so proud of your written word and debating skills

'the kid didnt need the muffin or the crisps. Why couldnt he have had a banana instead'

At least I can spell "genius" ;)

As your "mummy hormones" seem to have taken over your ability to understand a simple statement, I'll try and make it a bit easier for you.

CAKE, WHOEVER IT IS MADE BY, IS NOT HEALTHY!!! Fair enough to have a little as a treat, but it is not a necessity in anyone's diet ;)

Being a parent or a chef doesn't automatically make you a qualified nutritionist. And that poster's rant towards the headteacher must have amused the teaching staff for months :rotfl:

Apart from the fact that you ignore questions posed to you and are unable to comprehend a simple argument? Let's hope your little darlings have inherited their dad's genes ;)

No-one mentioned muffins. I thought we were on about cakes here not bread ;)
