Looking to give a cat or Kitten a home and from Barry area ?

Hello, our cat died a week ago last week after living with us for 16 years. She was a lovely tabby cat who was adorable. The house seemed so quiet without her and the children were very sad so I checked out the local rehoming centres and found Shua (Safe House for Unwanted Animals)

They are situated just past the Sully tip on Hayes Road, and have some lovely adult cats and kittens for rehoming. Phone them first before you set off as they are extremely busy.

We offered an adult cat a home and he came flea treated, neutered, micro-chipped and wormed. There is no charge for the animal but donations are gratefully accepted. They also run a charity shop in High Street, Barry where bric a brac etc is always appreciated.

If you are looking for a pet please do check them out, we rehomed one cat but there were so many cats/kittens needing homes it was quite sad; if only we could have given them all a home.

Hiya fishface-69, our first and 2nd choices were poorly and then last week, 2 kittens were dumped in Cardiff and I had first refusal on them on Friday. Saw them on Saturday and brought them home, so they have been here only 24 hours ! still thinking about the grey kitty that I PM'd you about so if I can persuade hubby will get that one also !

Update: the grey kitten has finally arrived, and joins our exisiting two pictured above.



When we picked him up there were so many cats and kittens who all need loving homes.

we have been talking about getting a kitten since our albert went missing last year....we all miss him terrible........where did you get yuor little darlings from? .......as i think we are ready to have a kitten soon.....

They do not charge for the kittens either, but are grateful for donations. (I was told that in Cardiff market some kittens are going for £100+).
