Co-op chicken half price

Just picked one up. The Elmwood chickens are quite nice, maybe not free range but they usually come to anything from 4-6 quid. They are not as cheap as the cooked chickens and cheap ones from Asda for example.

Got a big one for £2.50, happy with that and will use some for tomorrow aswell, thanks

I went to my local store Friday but the chickens were full price. On asking the assistant she told me the offer had finished. Have emailed the Co-op asking them if this a regional offer.

Offer ends 20th October here, but I'm in Scotland and don't know if there are regional variations

hmmm, It shouldn't be a regional offer. It shows on the website as being available til the 20th, which would be right as it says one week only, and they were just putting them out when I went in on the 14th.

I've picked up 3 so far. Cooked one, one in the fridge and the biggest one I could find in the freezer for Christmas (there's only us and two littlies so a large chicken is perfect).

Glad I found a good offer for everyone :-)

Costco currently have their pair of chickens at half price. £3:34 for 2 big chickens.
