rechargeable battery for Samsung Digimax A7

Hi,

A while ago i bought samsaung digimax a7 camera. this works great. the only downside is the batteries. i bought this camera in feb this year. and so far i must have changed batteries atleast 5-6 times.

from my limited knowledge, i can see that this camera uses AA battery. Also i use this battery for my wireless microsoft keyboard as well.

my query is where can i buy re-chargeable batteries and battery charger for this camera? when i searched in this forum, i came across this website -

http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=101054

but i do not understand where it says like something like ni-mh

can someone kindly point me a cheap seller of the above please?

thanks

I also had a Samsung A7, and this is the one I bought:-

It's just one of many on eBay, and I actually bought two of these chargers and battery sets and been very happy with them.

Ni MH = Nickel Metal Hydride (the material inside the battery), supposed to better in many ways than NiCad (Nickel Cadmium) batteries.
mAh = Milliamp/Hour = How much power they can hold, the bigger the number the better but usually more expensive.
I love my spell checker, it stops me making all sorts of stupid smelling mistakes.

Digital cameras will eat ordinary alkaline batteries so rechargeable are a must. I use the charger and batteries from 7dayshop and would recommend them. The charger is a good quality deltaV processor controlled one, which automatically detects when the batteries are fully charged. If you have two sets of batteries, you can always keep one set charged up and ready for use.

As Mr Meanie says, the higher the mAh figure, the higher the capacity.

I too have recently baught a Samsaung Digimax A7 Camera, and have read that it can be upgraded to 512MB external memory\512MB external memory guaranteed. Does this mean that the camerma will not accept 1GB or higher?

Do a search on Ebay for a seller called VAPEXTECH.

Excellent high power Ni-Mh batteries at very good prices.

No affiliation whatsoever, just a satisfied customer.

Dont think you will find batteries and a charger much cheaper than you have already found, i would suggest going for that, and buying a spare set of rechargables..
