Hello,
My sister has got married and her name as changed along with her card details. Does anyone know the quickest way to deal with this. I have googled it but most of the answers are a couple of years old and it states paypal want you to fax wedding docs, bank statements etc and she's not happy about having to send all that stuff off. Some people mention it's quicker to open a new account but then how do I get the money from old account - could I send a PayPal payment? Thanks

I got married a year ago and simply haven't bothered changing my name on Paypal as it is simply too complicated.
It hasn't given me any problems yet, and I can add new cards etc to it without it mattering that it is a different name.
I have yet to encounter any difficulties, although someone may be along topoint out something I may have missed.2 angels in heaven :A0 -
I just scanned in my marriage certificate and emailed it to them, name changed no problem. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

similarly, I've just kept my maiden name, they don't seem to mind that this doesn't match my cc anymore!0

I just kept my old surname when i changed my surname via deed poll. Just added new cards and changed my name on ebay and my items get sent in my new name.
Getting married in june though so have to change it so i can change it again lol x0 -
I opened a new account - they practically wanted a vial of my blood. Then I went back to my old account when the marriage went t!ts up! If it was as much faff to get married as to change your name, I might have not bothered (no bad thing!)0
