Jane Norman!

:mad:grrr

I brought a charcol jumper from Jane Norman for £35, Had it on once and the stitching on the wrist band came undone. Called them up and said what had happened, They told me to go into the store (7 miles away) and they would replace it - so i told them the size of the jumper and said i would be in shortly (had other business near by)

Anyway, got into store and they didnt believe it had just come undone, called a supervisor who came out and said that it was infact faulty and i would have an exchange (no refund) which i said was fine (really wanted the top) to which the snobby little sales assistant said they didnt have any more in store and could i go back the next day (why didnt she just tell me that over the phone when she asked what size top i needed!)

My mum went into store for me the next day and picked up the "new" top. Lo and behold, put it on for the second time today and theres a fricking hole under the arm where the stitching has come undone!

You would of thought the price on the tag would match the quality of the clothes and not the brand name!!

waiting on a response from jane norman via email . .

I usually like Jane Norman stuff, but hardly ever buy anything as it is too expensive, but i would of thought for the prices of the clothes they would be good quality.:o
I also love River Island but that is too expensive as well:mad:

I used to like Jane Norman, but now find the quality of their clothes really poor compared to the high price you have to pay, so no longer shop there.

I found SO many faults with their clothes (seams coming undone, buttons falling off etc...) that I just used to repair them myself as it as too inconvenient to take them back!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • I had this problem with a really nice pair of linen trousers from Phase Eight (whose stuff is usually really good), where the seams were just going after two wears. I went in to change them and the only pair they had had a hole where the seams had already gone just through being tried on. The assistant just said "Oh it must be a problem with all of them" and gave me a refund. Great, but why are they selling stuff that has a persistent known problem? I think a refund might be your only option in this case.

I always used to shop at Jane Norman, but found that most of the tops I bought had holes in, bad stitching, or zips stopped working and diamonds etc fall off everywhere. Their jeans are good but its all way too overpriced.

Mums brought her old sewing machine out so its a=going to be a DIY job im afraid!
