Ideas for indoor fundraising gala please

Would be v grateful if anyone out there could suggest good moneyraising ideas that are fun and suitable for indoors with limited amount of space!

My 24 year old daughter has just completed six months chemo for high grade brain tumour. She has been left with right sided weakness from the surgery but apart from that is doing fantastically well.

She has signed up for a canoe expedition next summer to raise funds from Brain Tumour UK and just as importantly to give herself a goal to work towards now her treatment is over.

We are holding a fundraising night in our local village hall next month. The night will mainly consist of live music supplied by her friend's soul band. However we are also going to run a raffle and a small auction (struggling for lots for this though) I have written to local businesses asking for donations to raffle and auction and have had some lovely little raffle prizes and hoping that some of the bigger businesses may come up with suitable auction lots.

We need to capatilise on the night as much as possible. There will be over 100 people and it would be good if we could have some fun stalls set up for when they arrive and inbetween the band's sets. The audience will be adults 20-60 years age group.

Think we will do "Splat the Rat" as this should work well indoors and it is fun and will appeal to the competitive nature of some of the lads there!

Would be v grateful if anyone out there could suggest good moneyraising ideas that are fun and suitable for indoors with limited amount of space!
Thank you x

Doing some food and drink should be an easy way to raise some extra money.

I don't have any ideas for other fundraising activities but just wanted to wish you and your daughter the best of luck with the event.

Tombola - either with bottles or tins - if you can get supporters to donate, always goes down VERY well.

If you have any contacts in local schools, see what 'games' they have for Christmas fairs and ask if you can borrow it. I remember we did Hoopla, and DH used to draw the crowds in by juggling the hoops whenever there was a lull!

    Thank you both!

We have included light buffet in ticket price and have a bar booked.

Have gone for tombola using large playing cards with prize placed on each one, an inflatable "darts" target game, velcro kick and stick football game, samples of my homebaked mince pies - taking orders for xmas on the night, water/wine and roll the coin to the bottle and the nearest on night wins the bottle.

Struggling for good auction lots - so far got River Cottage cookbook signed by Hugh FW, homebaked cake a month for a year (baked by me), two hours ironing voucher. Any suggestions again gratefully recieved!

Maybe have a look on bakerross.com - they have a fab fundraising bit where for a small outlay you can make quite a lot. They are also on quidco.
