Hi All
Have been very sucessful with a few other PPI but sent off first letter to Barclays on the 9th July this year had a reply that they needed more time thought fair enough then had another letter dated the 4th September saying they were inundated and could we give them until the 5th October although we were within our right to go to the ombudsman(this is what they put in the lettter) we let them have the time, called them today and they have nothing new to tell me as they are still so busy!! I have told them I will give them a week and then will be going to the ombudsman. Just wanted to know if this is what they do? Has anyone else had this experiance? Thanks in advance;)

Hi there in regards of the FOS, you can either download/print from their site, or ring them to post a complaint form out to you, remember as well to enclose copies of any correspondence, and anything you have to support your case, good luck and please keep us posted.

I made my initial complaint o BArclays in January 09 and was still waiting in July when i referred it to the FOS.
The number of complaints the FOS are handling is huge so be prepared for a wait with them too.0
