Confused?????

I am confused with all the different phone companies and charges. My sister is with talk talk and she thinks it would be a lot cheaper for me than BT.
I am on the BT option where I pay £14.99 per month and get free local evening and weekend calls. I also have broadband from Force 9 which costs me around £16-£18 per month, depending on my usage. My mobile is with Orange PAYG and provided I top up by £10 per month I get 500 mins free evening calls orange to orange and 300 texts. I have read through some of the posts here and to be honest it has just confused me even more?????? Is talk talk a good option for me???

You could drop down the BT Option 1 for £11.

Then sign up for primus penny saver mobile option (free) where you get free landline calls up to 90 mins in the evenings and at weekend, and mobile calls are capped at 20p for 20 mins or less.

Then use 1899 to call landlines during the day for 3p a call.

Not sure about talk talk, but reading all the posts on here customer services doesn't sound good.

For £20.99 per month you could move to TALKTALK on their TALK3 plan. This would give you unlimited broadband and free UK calls to numbers starting 01 and 02, day or night. You would also get free calls to 28 countries, that's all of europe and a few other countries like USA, Australia.

You have to transfer your BT line to TALKTALK and the contract is 18 months.

Of course, there is a downside, and in the main that is that you will not be allowed to use other operators to route your calls through, like you currently can with BT. But with all UK (01 & 02) numbers carried free of charge you may find that this is acceptable. Your bill would immeditaly drop by £12 per month if you did it!
