House Of Fraser Price Protection

I have price protection/shopping cover on my Santander House Of Fraser credit card, meaning that if, within 100 days of purchase, I see the item I bought on my card reduced (including when it's been part of a wider sale like 20% off everything day), I can claim the price difference back by filling out a form.

However, the onus is on the customer to note down exactly what date they saw the reduction and by how much.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to shortcut this without spending my whole life in House Of Fraser keeping an eye on prices of everything I've bought?!

Any advice gratefully received! thank you.
