Thanks once again, not sure where the charging circuitry is, I have left the mains one plugged in overnight and had no problems so it cut out somwhere along the line and the car adaptor plug although the plug in part is std the rest of it is not a std size so I assume it has some sort of other circuitry in it
and dont worry I would never think of blaming anyone if it goes wrong I realise its all a bit trial & error

    thanks once again

just re read your previous message, sorry you may have misunderstood, I am going to use the car adaptor for whatever supply I eventually settle on so the safety will be there, its just getting enough power to be able to print a lot more pics than the battery that comes with the printer is able to.

    thanks

Can't imagine why the idea of shaking batteries to wake them up made me think of this cartoon...

LIDL were selling Delta-V 's last year for £8

Is this the one, which they're selling from tomorrow for £12.99?

If not, does anybody know whether this is a Delta-V charger?

On sale from Monday 2nd August, in fact!

And from the 'writeup' there's absolutely no way of telling...

The Ansmann 2850mA AA rechargeables (which seem to be the highest capacity available?) seem to be about 3/4 the PicStop price at Amazon... (But you were pointing at chargers!)

Well I have seen 3000mAh (and I think 3100mAh), though only from manufacturers that I've never heard of.

Yes, I got some 3100 mAh ones from eBay (Profitex) a couple of years ago, but unless there is a completely standard method of measuring capacity, it's mainly a 'think of a number' exercise...

Yes, I agree, there must be loads out there of rather dubious origin.

Here are some 'allegedly' 3000mah batteries. Unsurprisingly, they are nothing close, averaging about 800mah.

In my opinion, the majority of high capacity AA & AAA batteries sold on Ebay are fakes.

I am currently using AA's from 7dayshop which are not only cheap but are usually close to the advertised capacity.
