I want to sell my collection.....

I really haven't a clue where to post this, I would be grateful if anyone can help.
Over a few years I have collected ornaments featuring couples dancing, I have 17, they have cost in the region of £800 in total.
I would like to sell these as one lot rather than put them on E bay, can anyone suggest a site I could post it on, please?
I am unable to drive so the local auction house is not really a possibility and of course I would have to pay commission and v.a.t.
Many thanks

You've pretty much knocked a lot out by ruling out Ebay and local auction houses. If they are collectable/valuable you may get an auction house willing to collect. You could email them the details and see what they think.I really haven't a clue where to post this, I would be grateful if anyone can help.

There are free ad opportunities both on and offline, but sounds like that would offer you too random potential buyers and also open up other possible problems.
You could try ringing round local dealers. Rather than trying online use your local yellow pages. Whilst a local dealer won't charge commission they are unlikely to give you the market value.
From what you've said I'd say that the Wholesale antiques and collectables category on Ebay would be your best bet for getting the best price..0 -
