Just need some advice and wasn't sure which board to post on, but thought someone on this board would be able to tell me if they've ever bought anything from https://www.purelygadgets.co.uk?
I wanna buy a Sony digital camera, and they have the best prices, just not sure if its a good idea to buy from a website I've never heard of??
TIA

They don't look too bad.Stompa0 -
I bought a flash for my dSLR from them... were one of the cheapest places but were the only place that had them in stock.
Generally good, the item took a few days longer to arrive than expected but when I phoned them they said they would look into it (as their PCs were down) and get back to me. Got a call that afternoon saying that the item had now been dispatched and would be with me before 9am the next day (which it was) and then got another call about 10am the next day to make sure it had arrived.
So good start, bit ropey in the middle but well recovered. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

I've ordered just the one thing from them (camcorder battery) and was very pleased with the speedy delivery and service. Would use them again.Same old same old since 20080

Hi,
Get price, then go to Jessups.
They price match and you get there excellent customer service.

Found this thread as I'm looking at getting a camera from Purelygadgets. Jessop's price match policy is a lazy one designed to crush independent competition. Jessops's standard prices are high, high, high. The only way to get the big players' prices down is to actually take your business to the competition, at least from time to time - assuming that the service is respectable of course. So, do any other Purelygadgets customers have a comment to add?0
