I think you are right. They should sort out any issues and run again in a couple of weeks or something. Or shut the competition early and have a draw for something special for the finalists they have.

It does take a long time to be running a website - especially if you arent really 100% sure what you are doing - I know!!!!

If these guys were anywhere near reaching their financial target they'd simply stop the competition and award a prize (A smaller prize if need be, as per the T&Cs).

The fact that the comp is only paused temporarily suggests that they are a long way off, despite nearing their limit of 21 weekly entrants.

In addition, all that ambiguous hoo-har where they cancelled entries leaves them open to being sued by the people who entries were rejected should they ever award a prize to someone else. (When the prize is something big like a house you can be sure someone will contest it!!)

It's also debatable whether the final stage of the comp constitutes a lottery, in which case it could fall foul of the law.

All very messy, if you ask me.

Thank you Elljudge. I have just entered once for me, once for my husband and once for our tennis club (ts and cs say this is fine), but it's rejected all but my first entry. Oh well, as it does seem that nothing will come of this, I suppose it doesn't matter. I hope the Woods couple are alright. I'd like them to issue a health bulletin as I feel I know them and their house having read about it every day for what seems like forever!

Do a Google on "Abraham Hicks cult". It seems that they are plugging some sort of scam/cult religion thing!

I sincerely hope that Paul & Michelle haven't been drawn into some sort of cult religion. Furthermore, if they have I hope they are not trying to sucker competition entrants into joining a cult!

I have felt something has been wrong with this comp from the start but I now 'smell' something really baaaad here, I really do.
