in Credit cards
Hiya,
i currently have a virgin credit card and the intro rate runs out shortly. as I know longer need a card to store debt - finances are fingers crossed soon to be in order. I would really like a reward card.
Is there any option as this is an MBNA to switch over the credit limit to a different MBNA reward card eg the virgin atlantic card? without applying for a new one then closing the old one?
Im guessing the answer may be no but since its actually the same bank I was wandering if its possible? - im not bothered about any rates as id be paying in full monthly - id just like to start gettin a little something back =D
Regards

They could well let you - unlike some other providers they seem pretty happy for you to hold more than one credit card issued by them, unlike Barclaycard who like to lock you in with one deal!0

well to be honest I only want one - I dont see the point in having two - i just want the virgin card to become a virgin atlantic card...
Does this sound feasable? who would I contact? - the virgin atlantic card side and explain I already have a virgin card and want to switch over?0 -
As you know, your Virgin and the Virgin Atlantic cards are both underwritten by the same bank, MBNA.
MBNA will sometimes switch your credit limit from an old, unused card, to give you a higher limit on the new, active one, but you would need to apply for the new MBNA card.
