Cheap ebay item NAD

Knowledgeable people - Help! PLEASE!!
I recently won an auction for an item that was described as Brand New - it was a Birthday Mug in a box.
I only paid 99p + postage for it.
When it arrived (very promptly) the box was obviously not new - and I would guess that this item had been given as a present some years ago, and the box has suffered from sellotape and damp damage.
I have e-mailed the seller to say that it's arrived, but it clearly isnt brand new - and I have had no response (5 days later). What should I do? I don't really want to open a dispute - as for 99p, I can't be bothered to send it back.
Shall I just leave a neg?
TIA! x

no matter the cost etc...
if the item was not as described and no contact recieved from the seller then a negitive feedback is justified.0 -
I would leave a neg or neutral (depending on how strongly I felt about it) stating the facts.
"Disappointed that item wasnt new, as claimed. Will cost too much to return."0 -
Thanks Guys - she has now replied (maybe she is reading this??) and said that she is sorry I'm not happy, and that I can return for a refund if I want - I've said that there is little point for something so cheap - I just wanted to highlight the fact that there was no way that the item was Brand New as it was described on the listing..!

To be fair it was probably brand new and unused. It just been sitting around for a while which probably should have been highlighted in the listing.0
