Anyone been to Piskopiano, Crete?

After weeks of trying to put together a holiday using info from MSE, I have finally gone and booked a package deal through Teletext (Hellenic) to Crete. £1575 for 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 weeks self catering in Piskopiano Apartments near Hersonissos. I couldn't beat the price and the accommodation is a (greek) 5-star with Air-con included and decent flight times from Gatwick

Has anyone been to Piskipano before? I've read mixed reviews about Hellenic Voyages, but reviews do tend to be bad - poeple who have a good or average time don't leave reviews, just those that are unhappy, so any feedback would be appreciated.

I've not been to Piskopiano but been to Crete many time's, lived there for a while to.
I wouldn't worry unduly Bigbaldgit, the Greek's are very warm friendly people, and especially love children.
You'll have a great time.

Hire a car if you can and explore the many wonderful places to visit. Go of the beaten track to, to find the little tucked away villages were there always seems to be a taverna.
