balance transfer, new amazon card

Bit of advice needed please, I currently have 2 cards that are used only for internet purchases, after hitting them pretty hard this year updating all our gadgets Ive amassed more than im comfortable with.

I've just seen an advert for the new amazon card and it seems quite a good deal,

The New Amazon.co.uk MasterCard

* £15 will be credited to your Amazon.co.uk MasterCard once you make a purchase on your card within 180 days of the account opening
* 0% on all purchases at Amazon.co.uk for 9 months from the date your account is opened.*
* 0% on all balance transfers for 12 months (3% handling fee). For this great rate your balance needs to be transferred within the first 90 days of the account opening.
* 16.9% APR Typical rate (variable).
* Earn 1 Loyalty Point for every £1 spent at Amazon.co.uk and 1 Loyalty Point for every £2 spent elsewhere.**
* For every 1,000 Loyalty Points that you earn, you will automatically be emailed a £10 Amazon.co.uk gift certificate.

Can anyone give an opinion if this is a good financial move, my 2 cards are with Halifax at 13.93% for purchases and Barclaycard at 9.9 % and I owe £347 and £263 respectively, the way ive looked at is I will have a year with no interest to hack away some of the balance, is that right ?? (ive picked the amazon card as i buy most of my stuff from there and the halifax card was originally linked to amazon)

many thanks in advance for any help, i feel like im missing something :confused:
