Can extras from the builder be added to your mortgage?

I had a mortgage application approved for a new house which will be ready in a few weeks. The builder has added some extra electrics and kitchen appliances which total an extra £1,500 - can I ask the Halifax to add this to my mortgage? I don't want to go through the mortage application process again though.
