Righto: last week my goals were:
Watch more dvds, then cancel blockbuster trial before friday and put discs in the post. Ummm, yeah. except trial ended on thursday, not friday so didn't cancel in time  Have been charged fee for one month but they promise to return 'unused portion' of the monthly fee and I only 'used' one day :rotfl: so hopefully I'll get most of it back
Spend hardly anything (preferably nothing) on groceries, might need a little milk but nothing else. Umm, well, no! Have been so busy that I found no time to make all the meals I'd planned and so went shopping for more 'quick and easy' food, have been getting home about 8.30pm each night lately  But its not for much longer then I can return to old ways :j
Bank more of £2 coin collection and transfer to savings account No time
Only allow myself 1 chocolate bar all week No, not good on this one either. Damn university canteen, shouldn't tempt me with green and blacks :rotfl:
Oh dear, that was shocking!!! Going to make them a bit more achieveable this week (another busy one):
Bank £2 coins and transfer to savings account.
Restrict self to 2 (small) chocolate bars!
Post free trial dvds back NOW!!!!
Spend minimum on groceries, have lots of food in!
That'll do I think
Good luck everyoneDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

I haven't posted any goals for ages.
The burglary knocked me right off kilter and I am only just starting to get back on track mentally with spending...I have still tried to be good but I have been so busy handing out cash for things (excess, fence & gate being put in, alarm & being fitted etc) that I've just totally lost all my financial navigation skills! Spending diary went out the window.
So my goals this week are simply:
Get firmly back ON TRACK by beginning to keep spend diary again and posting on the daily spend thread again.
Have at least two no spend days.
Do some work/planning on finances using my spreadsheet.
Good luck everyone.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Didn't post last week as I was away in Ireland at the start and then on a spa break with DD at the weekend:D . Luckily the first was budgeted for and the second was an all expenses paid Christmas gift
.
Next week I aim to,
Keeep away from Chocolate - have only had one small bar of galaxy since Easter.
Not buy any unnecessary groceries (still got a freezer full of meat).
Start a spending diary so I can really see where our money goes.0
