Help Hotmail email jumble

Everytime I try and check my hotmail the new messages are all in different place. Like one that I go today may be at the top then the one I goot yesterday may be at the bottom. I have tried to get help from the hotmail website but I don't know what to do. Before all my emails were in order of date but now they are all jumbled and they are not even in aplhabetical order. Any help would do thanks.

Have you checked that all emails are sorted by name and not by size? Im assuming they wouldnt be sorted by name because that would be strikingly obvious as soon as you went into your inbox.

I know im pointing out the obvious, but I've done it before. I accidentally clicked "Size" without knowing it and it rearranged all my emails from smaller to larger file sizes. If it's not that I dont know what it could be
