Sat Nav- Help needed!

I have a TomTom go- it's absolutely brillliant- however a close friend of mine wants/needs sat nav and i'm wondering what to advise-

Go with the more expensive Tom Tom or cut the price with an Aldi special?

What do people think?

Thanks in anticipation?

I am a fee charging WoM Mortgage broker.
I now no longer give information and opinion within the Mortgage boards, because a number of posters who, having approached me professionally, agreed my fee-which has been been made very clear at the outset, taken my advice (normally cancelling a [home visit] meeting at short notice) have then approached one of the fee-free brokers on here to arrange the very same deal I have advised.
Whilst I totally concur with the ethos of "money saving"- abusing the goodwill of a professional who provides a quality service is taking it too far!

    Hello stanmoresaver

I'll move your thread over to the 'Motoring & Public Transport' board, where it should get more views and responses.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. There are some in some stores, you just have to be lucky.

You could try Comet and see if they will price match.
