How can I get the Money owed to me

PLEASE HELP! I have just had confirmation from the Abbey and MBNA that they will repay all the PPI charges that I made. At first I thought that this was great however they want to refund these charges to the amount outstanding on the loan and cards, which are now on set repayment schemes. with the case of the Abbey which was for a loan can they not pay the money direct to me as the amount they are willing to pay won't even notice of the loan?

    Hi there;)

I am not sure where you would stand if your on a scheme as such, but you could ask them if they could consider paying you direct.
Some have been in the same situation as yourself, not sure if they were on schemes though, and have then been refunded directly to them.

Give it a go and see what they say, good luck.

they have the right to do this. you owe them money, so they will use the money they owe you to pay the loans off.

they do the same with bank charges.
