The Capital One Progress looks like an excellent idea - you've been unemployed or made redundant so have had arrears in the past, but you're back on track and want to rebuild your credit. You can't get a high street card, but don't feel you should be punished with a permenantly high APR as if you had defaults in the past.
I think it is an absolutely fabulous idea and perfect for my other half (when the O2 default has been removed, that is. Might interest some actually - check the thread here let me know what you think of my letter - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1998285&page=2 )
Anyway not to go off topic - liking the lineup - and also liking the classic card which states "Your aren't likely to be accepted if you've been bankrupt in the last 12 months" so I might give that a punt next March when I've been discharged for a yearWould love to get rid of this horrible Vanquis plastic I really would!
