Hi need advise on best bank out there to start up new buisness had a look around but thought you guys would steer me in right direction. on best rates etc cheers kymmy

Are you thinking of best rates as in depositing money or borrowing money or charges? I changed to Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank earlier this year and am happy so far. Free banking if you maintain the account in credit and deposit £1000 from a non A&L account per month. You can re-circulate the £1000 back to where it came from if you wish.0

If you are a sole trader you do not need a full-fat commercial account, I operate a small business and just use a normal current account, perfectly legal as this was a tip given to me by an advisor from Business Link North East.
