No, not that I know of.
You either need a pc with Windows Media Center installed as the operating system, or a standard XP install but with Windows MEdia Connect installed. The 360 is very restrictive in terms of a media center. I'm waiting for it to get hacked so that homebrew can be used, then plugging in an iPod shouldn't be a problem at all."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
You can.
You need to get Win Media Centre - install it on a chipped Xbox.
Set the xbox up on your home network, share all tis files and your pc files
Plug your ipod into your PC, transfer the files to it.
Then link the xbox to your 360 and transfer over the files.
Beauty of the chipped xbox on your home network is that you can plug it in another room, surf all your music or videos whilst the other PC is free to do other stuff.
Great if you have kids who can use an xbox but not yet a full PCTo be able under all circumstances to practice five things constitutes perfect virtue; these five things are gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness and kindness.0 -
That's not exactly connecting the iPod up to the 360.
That's using a chipped Xbox, Pc and plugging the iPod into one of them to get the files across to the 360. The 360 won't be able to access directly shared files from an Xbox.
You can't directly connect the iPod up, but the easiest way would be to hook the iPod up to your computer. Use something like EphPod or YamiPod to get the mp3's off your iPod and onto your computer (you won't be able to do this with iTunes).
You'll then need to install Windows Media Connect (if you have Windows XP Home/Pro).

The 360 will act as a Media Center Extender, but not a media center itself. All the music/videos/photos etc.. are streamed from the pc."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
