AMEX Late Statement?

Hi guys,
Is anyone else waiting longer than normal for their AMEX Platinum Cashback statment this month? I have had my card since August 2008, and have always had my statement on 7th month (or 8th if the 7th falls at the weekend or a bank holiday). However as of today, 13th, there is still no sign of it.
I can't get to a phone at the moment but have sent a secure message to AMEX, and they will get back to me in 24 hrs, was just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

If you can get online to send a secure message why don't you just print off the PDF version online and use that ?0

Hi Mark,
I know how much is on the card, I was just wondering if the direct debit date will be affected with a late statement. It currently says "Paymenet due £0.00 on October 2nd"0 -
Well something is a bit strange, the website is showing i have £2,000 more available credit than my credit limit. :rotfl:
Phoned them up yesterday and they couldn't explain it. As your potential problem is payment related i would speak to them on the phone when you can.0 -
The reason for the late statement date is the decrease in the number of interest free days available. It was announced back in July-time I think - we all got information included with the statement. Rather than move everyone's DD date to be closer to the statement, they moved the statement date to be closer to the DD.0
