Question about selling tickets

Me, my bf and my best friend have tickets to see pink in just over 2 weeks, my friend gave birth on Friday, but had always planned on coming to the concert anyway, however it was a traumatic event and both her and the baby are still in hospital, and at the moment she's not sure about going (understandably).
Now I don't want to wait, have her decide she doesn't want to (or can't) go and at such short notice won't be able to sell the ticket and we'll be out of pocket. Can I post the ticket on ebay, with the proviso that the ticket is only for sale should my friend not be able to make it, and will be withdrawn from sale should she decide she wants to go.
I've sold plenty of stuff on ebay in the past, but never concert tickets, and always stuff I've never had any intention of removing part way through

Don't know about the legalities but your suggestion seems like an excellent way to get negged or get a strike against you.0

Don't do it, sell it or don't sell it. Realistically with the strikes you would need to put it up for just a few days anyway as buyers can take 7 days to pay so you would need it finishing well before the concert so you have a chance of getting it there special delivery.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks guys, thats what i was worried about.
anyone got any ideas how i can get rid of the ticket should i need to?0 -
Was your friend going to remburse you for the ticket? I would give her the ticket, get her to give you the money, and then if she feels she can't go, she can sell it on.
I know she's just had a baby, and it isn't high on her list of things to worry about, but maybe you can help there, by finding out if anyone would be happy to take it off her at short notice - another friend perhaps.0 -
Try Scarlet Mist, you can advertise there at the last minute and meet the buyer at the venue to sell. I've sold on there a few times with no problem.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
