IKANO (Ikea) has wrong date of birth on my credit agreement?

Hi all
Just wondering where I stand with this - should I make a complaint?
I called IKANO to make a payment on my account, but was not sure what the minimum was (I bought a lot from IKEA on a 0% deal).
When I called it didn't tell me what the minimum payment was, so I went through to an advisor who explained that my date of birth didn't match the one on their system.
Surely they should have the correct dob for credit purposes? I called them last in September to have my credit limit increased for the purchase, which they did fine for me - by a difference of several hundred pounds.
The advisor was unable to access my account due to not being able to pass data protection, so I'm unsure of my minimum payment (no statement has been received as yet), and they won't tell me!
They said to send a copy of my passport and a covering letter to them - but I'm concerned that if I do I'll miss the deadline for the minimum payment and will affect my credit rating!
Any help would be great.

I'm not famililiar with Ikano, but the minimum payment required is normally 3% or less.
What's the balance on your account?People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
balance is just under 500 now, so prob around £20 is the minimum I guess..0

IKANO should sent out a credit card statement if there is a bill due. Have you informed IKANO of your current address in case you moved recently?
The biggest downfall of using IKANO Ikea home card is NO ONLINE management account!
Good luck0 -
Yes, make a complaint.
I had the same issue with Abbey when taking out an ISA with them a few years ago.
It was a market leader and they were swamped so had temps and agency staff in etc.
I rang up and could not pass verification on the password and some other details were wrong. I managed to get through using other information and I was already a customer with another account with them.
When they told me the password I could not pronounce it never mind have requested it.
They updated all the details and password for me straight away on the phone.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
& Choo Choo for trains!!0
