I want to sell Tesco Clubcard vouchers on Ebay, help please

Have just found this item http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330365914185&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

I want to sell mine! I've had a look at the website for Xmas pressies and there's nothing suitable for my friends/family.

Having not used the deals before, I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on selling them, the seller in the item mentioned talks about converting the vouchers.....do I take it then that I get the actual vouchers sent to myself that the buyer chooses, and then mail them to the buyer.

Do you think if I emailed the seller above and asked if I could "borrow" her wording that that would be ok, or is that a bit cheeky :o

Thanks :)

Are you allowed to sell these things on? have you checked all the small print?
When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.
  • The buyer will specify which deal they want on winning, you convert then forward them on when you get them.

Some deals can only be used by the person named (ie you) so make sure you specify this - tell them to check tesco.com before bidding.
  • Goldsmiths tends to be a favourite for buyers on E-Bay. Expect to get around double face value of the unconverted vouchers.

I am allowed to sell them though? Do you think this sellers ad was well worded?

Thanks for replies so far :)

  • Strictly speaking you aren't allowed to sell them but I've sold lots.

The advert appears to cover everything so re-jig the words a bit if you want to copy it.

Also www.paidtoshop.co.uk is well worth a visit for anything Tesco ClubCard related.

  • Poster # 6 is right - you are not allowed to sell them on. I have a Tesco Clubcard voucher in front of me. On the backside it says:
"Vouchers are the property of Tesco Stores Limited, have no cash value and are not for resale/publication."

I know your probably not allowed to sell them, but people seem to be doing just that, I can't see the harm in it

THe problem is when things are abused in this way companies put added barriers in the way which makes it harder for people to use their vouchers.
  • I have sold my clubcard vouchers before and got nearly 3x the face value, the buyer just advises what deal they would like and you can request the deal vouchers online.

I received the vouchers a few days later and posted them on, if you are selling them on i would most definetely mention that it can take up to 28 days for vouchers to arrive, they are normally much quicker but you should set realistic expectations just in case.
