Wescot and iQor chasing same debt!

Hi,

I have a Halifax CC which because of one bounced DD and them not having my new address on file meant the account went into default and they sold it on. I have been paying Wescot the balance as agreed and have never missed a payment, over £800 paid off now. But today I had a letter from iQor chasing the same debt and threatening legal action if I don't pay!

Any good advice for me? Yes I could call but i find these companies very difficult to deal with and i am not confident that my contact with them is recorded correctly, so I am inclined to write but not sure what to say. Who do i pay? Do I cancel the Wescot standing order until i know. I now fear I am paying a company and the money is just going into thin air!

Thanks for any advice anyone has.
