Parking in Birmingham - Recommendations
Just wondering as I have a one-off visit to B'ham this week (near Snow Hill station) I wondered whether anyone had recommendations on where to park? I'll be there from 9am until late afternoon.
I'm thinking Livery Street as this seems the most convenient and likely to have spaces given it's a multistorey. Cost is £9.20 for more than 6 hrs.
Would appreciate any other locations from peeps with local knowledge

I use Livery Street sometimes. Depending on how long you are staying, you can make it cheaper by using the park and pay phone system. You pay for 6 hours and then when it is running out (you'll get a text) you pay again for the number of hours you need, keeping it to around £1 an hour. It's pants to park in - you have to go right up to the top level, outside a lot of the time. I've always found a place but sometimes it's touch and go as it is office people and train users so there isn't a turnove of cars like there is in the shopping ones.
Otherwise it's a bit more of a walk away, 5-10 mins but I park in Charlotte Street at the Britannia Parking place (looks a bit rough and ready but it is constantly manned and they are very nice) and that is £6 all day.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Park at STAR CITY & use the park & ride £1 or so.0

I would park at The Hawthorns (5 mins from M5 junction 1 motorway), free all day, and then catch the train straight into Birmingham Snow Hill station (10 mins).
Depending on what day and time you are travelling it should cost approx £1.70 to £2.50 max.0
