This information will be shown on your statements. If you do not have a statement then you should be able to look at the meter and the rates will be shown on there. I beleive on the elec it is the readings next to G and K but i could be worng. I'm sure someone will be along soon to confirm if i am right or not

If you are with British Gas there will be no standing charge for your gas.
You wil lpay a higher price for the first gas used though.
You can see your prices on screens 9 & 10 of the meter (start with the screen showing your credit, then press and hold the red button until the screen changes. Now each time you press the red button the screen will change again, and have a number in the corner.)
For electricity, if not on E7 and you have a newer meter (KBD on the front) - you shouldn't have a standing charge (some tariffs do though, and if not you will have two tiers as above)
You can check your prices on the meter. If it is a KBD, press the blue button to change screens (letters this time) - look for F (standing charge), I & K. If you have a different meter, you may still have the same screens.

i have found out that, ebico would be the cheapest for my gas, i do have a standing charge for my electric with british gas but im unsure whether to switch my electric to ebico too, im quite a low user, used 44 kwh of electric over the last 7 days

this may sound like a dumb question but how do i go about switching my gas and electric to ebico??

i rent so i assume ill have to let my ll know, but what do i do after that?

also is there any good cash back deals on ebico? i have looked on quidco and cant find any, this is my first time trying to switch energy so please be kind :)
