  • Went to collect mine on the off-chance from beckton on Wednesday the date on my Email and to say the girl was rude is an understatement and her mannerisms and actions were disgusting.
I gave her my email conformation and she told me that she had not called me yet to tell me mine had arrived.
    "so they have arrived then"
"yeh but there are loads & i'm only doing a few at a time, you have to come back tomorrow"
    "Excuse me"
    "i'm busy come back tomorrow"
"I don't live local it's a bit of a drive for me to get here"( i was telling lies here i'm affraid, its on the way to my InLaws)
"look i said no ,come back tomorrow if i call you"
Lady behind says "i have a poster order too"
"Great another one" Then she tips a box of tubes on her counter and says "if you can find em you can av em" only most land on the floor.
Lady behind says "what your surname ?" i just stood there like a fool as she found her and my order ,"here's yours, Bye " she says. she turn's sweeps all the rest of the tubes on to the floor and walked off with the Girl saying "U have to sign for it, oi you aint signed".
I walked off without signing too and as i walked across the car park the Lady Beeped and waved"

  • Hi,
I pick mine up from the aston store today , very pleased with the poster , less so with the staff.
i arrived at noon to find no one at the photo lab , went to customer services only to be told that all the photo lab staff were at lunch and i would have to wait until they returned.
i asked if another member of staff could give me the poster as it was paid for(free) told no,
so i had to wait around for half an hour until some one came back to the photo lab, then was given my poster in a few seconds and no apologies for the wait.
I know it was free but you would think they would keep at least one member of staff there all the time.
    Thanks to the OP.

I picked up mine from the Ashford store. The staff was very helpful and when I approached the counter the guys asked for my surname. I told him and he remembered I had called the day before to check if the poster was there, he found it, gave it to me and I left - simples! :)

hmmm does not seem very mse to me - rather expensive for many things IMO. And next day delivery not surprising when your paying £9.50 for it. I see its your first post as well...

Best sticking to getting frames from a pound shop, some of the larger type ones such as poundland do these clip-in type frames around the same size for the normal £1, you may need to trim an inch or two off the photo if they dont have exact size but still a bargain. Otherwise local bootsales etc are great for cheap photos in frames, lost count of how many ugly (again IMO) pictures i've seen but the frames are great and usually only a quid or two - remove old pic, insert mine and voila, great photo in frame with me *smug* about my cheapy money-saving bargain each time I look at it.
