Cheap parking for Nuffield Orthopaedic centre, Headington/Oxford

Any suggestions? I'm on a course there later in the week and my letter says there's not much room for parking and its expensive. I'm already having to pay the accommodation myself so could really do with cutting other costs. Thanks

I guess you've seen this leaflet which says onsite parking is £10.00 per day.

That leaflet also suggests the Thornhill Park and Ride facilities.

The Thornhill P&R is free - but can be full by mid/late morning. If you are on a course you should be there early enough.

The bus into town drops you off near the Nuffield IIRC

Park & Ride is definately your best bet. There is very limited availability at, or anywhere near, the site. There are no long-stay car parks and all the surrounding streets are resident-only.
  • Thanks everyone - park and ride it is. What a rip off for hospital parking though! I live in Wales and its free to park at hospitals here!
