Buying while waiting to add funds to PayPal

I am at the moment waiting for funds to appear in my PayPal account. If i bought something from a website it should take less than 7-9 working days because I clicked the add funds button a few days ago right? ... and PayPal won't take an additional amount because the amount I'm adding is a little more than the price of the product i want to buy, right?

The amount that you added to Paypal will appear in your account and then you can pay the invoice from your seller.
They won't just pay all your funds to your seller.
If you can add a debit card or credit card to your account or verify you bank account you should be able to make instant payments which would speed everything up for you.0
