Theres not many which will work in a Mac, but one which I have seen work well on a Mac in PC World is the Miglia TV Mini. They have it in stock at my local store at £99.99, which is the same price on many mac sites, but expansys.com have it at £79.99, albeit on a 5 day lead time.0

And don't forget to get your daughter a TV licence too .. and that'll cost you another £131.50.0

Does a student need one? I always thought that a student didnt need one whilst at uni?0

hey I have just got my Miglia TV Mini from apple.com/uk and its great! At the moment its plugged into my ibook :-)
The standard aerial isnt up to much but I can get 20 digital channels included e4. Once i sort out the aerial I will get loads of channels. Picture quality is great and you can record too!
I got mine for £69 on special offer because i have just bought a macbook pro :-) but they are selling for £88 in store.

Thanks for the tips so far;
On the subject of TV license, I was under the impression that if your "receiver" was not mains powered then no licensec was required.No Links in Signatures by Site Rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -

Q: Do I need a licence?
-
A: If you use a TV or any other device to receive or record TV programmes (for example, a VCR, set-top box, DVD recorder or PC with a broadcast card) - you need a TV Licence. You are required by law to have one.0
