gas question

We are looking to move house. The property we like has electricity for lighting/cooking andno heating what so ever. There is no gas in the property according the the home report.

Does anyone have any idea how much it would be to install gas to the property.

Really a "how long is a piece of string question", for a start is there a gas main in road or how far is it from your property?

If I remember correctly its around £7-£800. You need to check that there is a gas main running down the road you intend to move to.

That gum you like is coming back in style.

Any idea how I would find out where the gas main is?? The house is in the middle of a residential area, not out in the sticks

You could try knocking a few doors along the street to find out if anyone else has gas there?
