Hi,
I sold an item on the 9th may for £16.99 i sent an invoice but heard nothing so a few days ago i sent another invoice but still nothing. So i filed a npb today to see if this would get a response and the buyer has responded straight away saying this:-
"sorry i dont know anything about this item, i didnt buy it. i have not got anyother items like this but changed all my passwords, sorry about this maybe someone used my account, scott"
What shall i do about this, I have checked his past items and he mainly purchases computer games various ages-lemmings-jak and daxter etc he also has bought a few items from lazy town sportacus for approximate ages 3-6??? I think that he has bought the item but no longer wants it, but what shall i do about it?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Just push through the NPB process and leave him to sort out his end. If he didn't buy its not your problem.0

Just do as Hintza says. The 'I'm sorry someone else bid' excuse wears a bit thin after you hear it for the tenth time.
When someone has had hacking problems with their account ebay assist in sorting it out, it takes time but they don't leave the buyer in a position where he has apparently bought items he doesn't want.
Start the NPB, don't do a mutual as if the buyer can mess up bidding he can mess up getting your fees back as well. If he has a problem he needs to sort it out with ebay, not expect you to lose fees over it.
