i found in my research that brothers werent as good as epsonsBrother All in Ones are the best option for reliable printing/scanning with very low cost cartridges, I buy mine for under £2 each delivered.
Many Canon and Epson's have chipped cartridges that are a pain in the backside to deal with. The original janiebaby

Well I have 3 of them, all working perfectly, as they have been for the last 2/3 years.
I would not consider buying anything else.
I have had HP, Canon etc. in the past, all cost a fortune to run, my Brothers cost pennies to run.0 -
Run Brother AIO just black printing but does colour scans. £50 - £80 should keep you going for years without any extra toner or ink costs. Sorry to hear you made your mind up already though..
Lasers cost pennies to run, work on a network and WIFI.
Go do your research again on printing costs versus laser printers. Then have a look at a couple of Brothers!0 -

Canon all-in-ones tend to get good reviews. The one on offer in Tesco for £30 has all the colours in one cartridge though so if one colour runs out you have to throw the whole lot out, it's more expensive to run than the more expensive Canons0

I have had success with compatible cartridges for my Epson Stylus SX200 from Coastal Inks. £2.50 per cartridge, £9.50 for the set of four, 100% guaranteed and free p&p.It is the cost of the cartridges which should help you decide which all-in-one to buy. The price of the official cartridges is outrageous.0
