whats are my rights re: vodaphone returns

hi im currently in a battle with vodaphone and no sure of my rights any help would be appreciated
i brought a mobile phone for my daughters birthday from the vodaphone online store beg of september, when it arrived it was faulty and didnt accept any sim cards, took it to the nearest vodphone shop and they told us to return it to the online store, finally got there courier to come and collect it ( another story!) and waited for the refund which we was told we would get within a week, we are still waiting nearly a month later, my husband has phoned up 3 times and there customer services are rubbish!!:mad: was told at first that the warehouse hadnt even sent it back to them and to call back couple days later, which we did, they are now saying that the warehouse has refused it and cant tell us why??and currently waiting for a manager to get back in contact with us, it was packed properly and securly so cant see why it would be?? when we finally get a phone call back what are our rights all we want is our money back on faulty goods, it seems like they are fobbing us off and making any excuses not to give us our money back, any advice???

regardless of if its faulty or not you are entitled to return the product under the distance selling regulations assuming you alerted them you wanted to return it within 7 working days from the day after you received the phone.

thankyou yes we did return it within 7 days we had to phone them again and my husband told them in no uncertain terms that we want the money back asap they promised we would get it before the end of the week so we shall see!

30 days is the usual allowance companies state for refund, any longer and you can start hassling them for your money
