Warm Air Heating - Good/Bad/Issues?

I'm considering a new rental property which has the above. Instead of radiators there are little grills in the floor and top of walls which blow out warm air.
Having never had such a thing I wondered if any of you had experience and whether it was good or bad?
Thanks!

What does the EPC say about heating costs?0

We had a warm air heating in our previous flat. I cannot say that it did the job well - basically the hot air was coming out of three slots in one wall, so it never felt warm enough despite the double glazing. Plus it was making noice. And our gas bills were huge - over the winter, we paid £240 (for 3 months) for a 1-bed flat. Not sure if it has anything to do with the type of heating or just our device was faulty.0

DO you get one with rentals?0 -
I have warm air heating and think its great, the place is warm in a matter of minutes and is no more expensive to run than any other heating system.
We have had ours since we moved in here (3 bed semi) 20 years ago and i wouldnt want anything else.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Our cat stationed itself in front of a grill and hogged all the heat. Fortunately, it had the sense to occupy the one in the hallway instead of in the lounge.0

I had this type of heating a few years ago when I rented a flat in Surrey. I actually really liked it as the flat heated up quickly. It was great for drying clothes if you positioned the airer infront of one of the vents! :j"I believe that everything happens for a reason. Had this is our house from when i was a little lad till about 10 years ago, so 20 years or so living with it, although i didn't pay the bills i don't think our system was overly expensive to run and kept us warm. We had vents in the floor downstairs and the ceiling upstairs. The ceilings upstairs needed painting every year because dirty dust marks would appear around the vents, supposed it can't be good breathing in that dusty air all winter but it did us no harm.
PS. the dog did love the downstairs floor mounted ones
