Advent calendar ideas for adults?

thanks all for the fab ideas, i'm feeling nice and inspired now! have got about 8 little pressies sorted, so i'm getting there! any more ideas gratefully received :beer:

Not all cheap ideas but we find it quite hard to plan ahead, especially in December, but I'm also hoping to come up with some other ideas more closely linked to the things we have planned on each day (ie, we're going to a show on the 15th, so I might pop in an IOU for interval drinks).

I remember someone on this forum (Rusty) got her OH 24 different bottles of beer for advent last year and put one in the fridge each day for him to drink when he got home from work.

Lovely ideas, last year I filled the advent calendar for my husband with some nice things which I want to share with you: handcreme (when its getting cold outside), a funny mini nutella (he loves it) and a photo from our last vacation. I found also additional gifts on some advent calendar blogs like advent-calendar-ideas.com
