I've made one for my fella this year. I'm going to have to just put sweets in some days, but so far the following things are going in:
- cufflinks
- a new tie
- £1 for him to spend on a cream bun in his coffee break
- a diary - using the customised diary idea on the Festive Fivers thread
- a tube-map that I am planning to make myself
- first-class upgrades on a train journey we are taking on 21st December
Not all cheap ideas but we find it quite hard to plan ahead, especially in December, but I'm also hoping to come up with some other ideas more closely linked to the things we have planned on each day (ie, we're going to a show on the 15th, so I might pop in an IOU for interval drinks).
Awww, that's sounds lovely, very thoughtful and fun
I remember someone on this forum (Rusty) got her OH 24 different bottles of beer for advent last year and put one in the fridge each day for him to drink when he got home from work. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Lovely ideas, last year I filled the advent calendar for my husband with some nice things which I want to share with you: handcreme (when its getting cold outside), a funny mini nutella (he loves it) and a photo from our last vacation. I found also additional gifts on some advent calendar blogs like advent-calendar-ideas.com0
