Well this isn't going too well I haven't had a settlement figure and when I popped into the branch today they weren't very helpful. I asked about cancelling PPI as i'm still within the cooling off period and the girl said that they would have to do it as a whole new loan and I asked why it couldn't be cancelled?
She also asked why I wanted to cancel it for the sake of a couple of quid, I said that I wanted it cancelling regardless of the change in the final figure.
I have an appointment tomorrow with the branch manager to get this resolved I hope.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650 -

Don't let them mess you about. At the end of the day they are sales persons and they don't care whether they sell you the right product or not!

Went to see them today and it seemed the girl I spoke to yesterday was talking rubbish and as soon as I have a settlement figure I can pay it off in full. The only annoying thing was it has to be by cheque rather than a BACS transfer which means I have to send it off quick time and hope they get it.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650

Forget the ISA. Pay your cards off!0

The cards interest free though so wouldn't it make sense to let the cash gain interest?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650

Nice one Slayerx - if the card is 0%, stick the money in an ISA, I definitely agree with you on that.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 027
