Have just received a wtc for the above prize :j:j:j:j

the prize is for a Double en-suite room, at St Deiniol's including dinner, bed and breakfast on Friday 16th October and Saturday 17th October 2009.

A pair of tickets for Behind the Scenes with novelist Kate Atkinson event on Friday 16th October; and a pair of tickets for Sir Richard Eyre: Talking Theatre with Emma Lucia Hands event on Saturday 17th October.

unfortunately we can't go as my wife isn't very well at the moment and she also has an hospital appointment on friday and I have an appointment with the doctor on saturday

I asked he PR company if my gd could go on my behalf they said they wasn't sure as they didn't think that the prize would be transferable and they would speak to the library and phone me back just got the call back and they said YES!

my gd is over the moon and it will be good for her to get away for a break as she is presently suffering from post natal depression

Sorry to hear that your wife is unwell - I hope she's better soon.

So good that they transferred the prize too. I liked the look of this competition and prize when I posted it as I really enjoy Kate Atkinson's novels (and saw her play when it was at York theatre a few years ago too). I hope that your GD has a fantastic time.

Let us know what she thinks of the residential library. It sounded fascinating
