Am sure this is done often at the mo. So sorry for repeats
My husband has been laid off today. I have applied on line for him for job seekers (he should get contribution based) and he has MPPI + 25% for 12 months that I will apply for once the JSA paperwork is through.
We have a 19 month old which we get child benifit and basic child tax credit for, am on 24k and we are mortgaged.
Now from what I can find all we are entitled to at the mo is just the above as I earn too much. Could someone double check me so I know am right please? I have this feeling am missing something but am not quite sure.
Thanks

You could get more CTC then the basic amount, but they take CBJSA into account. It would be wise to ring TCO and check or go to the CAB for a quick benefits check. You could put your figures into www.entitledto.co.uk for a rough guide.0
