What a time you've had lewby. I'm glad you got a solictor to fight your corner with the company and come up with a written agreement. That's awful and they just thought he could come back to work and nothing would change. (********************-insert swear words of choice).
Well done for standing in your corner and not backing down. You were very very brave and you deserve LOTS of compensation. Make sure they don't fob you off.
Glad things are a bit better now and welcome back.Current Mortgage - £156,633:eek:Expecting baby no. one on 27th Oct 20100 -
Hello Lewby,
I was going to PM you to see if you were okay as I've really missed you round here.
I am so sorry to hear of the situation and all your stresses - you really have been through the mill. I really hope things pick up for you now - my thoughts and love are with you and your family. You really have been very brave.

Welcome back Lewby!
Sounds like you've had a pretty rough time with it all recently. Hope it is sorted fairly and you are back to your normal positive, full of fight self!

Hi Lewby. Sounds as though you've had a tough time, so dont blame you for laying low!! I hope that jerk gets his come uppance, at least there are other cases to support yours & you are not alone (although that doesnt make it any easier to deal with I am sure). Thinking of you (((((((hugs)))))))xx0

WOW...not much I can say except a huge round of applause for sticking up for yourself despite horrendous pressure and not letting this specimen get the better of you!!!:T :T :T
Not many people would have the courage to see it through under such circumstances/stress so you have my admiration!
Be strong!
Hugs.... x0 -
Well done and Congratulations!!! It's brilliant and proves that we should speak up when something happens and not be afraid of the consequences. I had a similar situation when I was told that I was a bad mother repeatedly by my Punjabi employers. I managed to get them on tape when I confronted them and they blamed it on their religion!! But because I had not let them know that I taped them it was seen as entrapment so I only had my diary to go by so I settled out of court for a mere £800 in the end. However, at least it was a sort of admission of guilt.
I remember quite clearly how stressful it was and how despite being fiecely tired not having the ability to switch my mind off and sleep which made the stress 10 times worse!!
So a big pat on the back - maybe you could have a nice weekend away to celebrate and help you relax again - obviously booked in a true MSE fashion so you know your not lining too many peoples pockets along the way!!
