I think you have been really brave to admit how you are feeling to a bunch of strangers. We are here to lend an ear or shoulder, even if you don't feel able to give us more details just yet. But when you feel able to, please post, as we may be able to help. It does get better eventually, there are people here who have had unmanageable debts and got through the other side. Please keep trying.

    Kindest Regards xxx

    Hi jjfay,

    Welcome to the board.

I know it will be very time-consuming working out for us how much you owe everyone, but maybe we could do it in bite size chunks.

How about starting off with your family, how many people, their ages, disabilities, and what money you have coming in.

Then we can look at increasing your income before we start looking at your expenditure.

If you don't feel able to post about this then can I suggest you head to your nearest Citizens Advice Bureau and seek advice from them.

There are other people that can help like Payplan, CCCS or National Debtline but they will need figures to work on and if you haven't the energy to work this out it might be a waste of a call.

In the meantime if you do not feel able to address your debts make sure you keep on top of the mortgage, council tax, gas and/or electric and make sure you all eat well.

Look forward to hearing from you soon,

    EE

jjfay, Everyone really is here to help and I guess you must have posted here for a reason. Use this forum to vent your spleen.

I know where you are coming from as I have been feelling pretty much as you are right now. But why should you let 'them' get you? It really isn't worth it. What's the worst case scenario for you jjfay?
Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j

'The darkest hour is just before the dawn' and all that. You've done the right thing in posting here. People understand, and will be kind and helpful to you. Whatever your problems, they can be overcome with perseverance and effort. You'll find all the support you need on here. You only need to read some of the stories from other posters to realise that. I wish you luck, and hope you will post again soon. (Tried to find a hug smiley and couldn't, will this do? )
