HELP!I want a favour

Hey Guys!
I have some of my favorite songs in my iPod that I want to transfer into my computer. I have tried many times by different methods but I am unable to transfer. Do you people have any idea that can help me out? Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

From back in the days, a tool called Anapod I think did the trick

Connect ipod 2 pc ,enable view hidden files in folder options(Control panel).Explore ipod in mycomputer there will be 4 or five folders with your songs (they will be renamed to a 4 or 5 letter/number name)
Copy them to folder on computer run a good music program like foobar to rename them from there tags.

This is how i did my nano it could be differant on other models i guess
