I wonder if you need to give a specific example for each skill in the job description...
So something like at the end of:
As Media and Resources assistant I worked in a classroom situation where I was responsible for demonstrating and assisting the class alongside teaching staff with media projects. This involved helping children to develop their ideas and guide them into creating something they were proud of whilst learning new skills. To back up the classroom learning, visual and written aids were produced and available for the children and staff.
An example of this would be where child A needed to learn about Egyption History so I helped them to create a timeline of when each of the pryamids was built with pictures that they drew on the relevant years. This enabled me to show them about devling deeper into a subject and using their knowledge in a structured way while researching for items to draw to put on the timeline...
Then you wont get asked for more specific examples at interview, dont make them up though only use them if you have one!
Yeah I probably should Becky...I find this so stressful, maybe im not cut out for this malarky!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I seem to recall have this same conversation about a certain application I had to fill Sal.
Do it. And don't just 'I am good at this'
Say 'I am good at this-here is an example that shows it'Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Sal, I go off for a coughing fit and some medication, come back and you've been sorted. Sounded fab to start with, but even better with the little tweeks. Have a look at this

Dont be stressed... applications are a way of asking you to pass a 'compentancy test' - to see if you could in theory 'do the job'...so basically employers are looking for you to tick a number of boxes (but not all of them)... they'll select the people with the most relevant experience for a second test of personality (i.e. do you fit with them) and then sometimes do a third test of compentancy type in more detail (i.e. if two candidates are similar).
So basically all they want to know is 1. can you do the job 2. do you have proof you can do the job...
Proof is more than experience though - thats why specific examples are good - it shows you've really thought about what they are after and you meet it!
You'll be fine!0 -
Don't be daunted Sally - you haven't done it before, that doesn't mean you're not cut out for it, it just means it's currently a bit outside your comfort zone.
They want someone who can get across the fact they can do the job, not someone who can create the perfect application form. Sounding good on paper is just a means to an end, a foot in the door - it's YOU that will get you the job, not the application form.
By the way, there has been a lot of media speculation today about Robbie on X Factor, and his rather 'high' demeanor. Glad it wasn't just me that thought so! (That bit wasn't particularly in relation to the above, lol!)"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I have no idea hence why i just watching the conversation

I too thought Robbies eyes were a bit 'wild'
