Sally, I think it sounds great, I have just altered some things subtely (sp) feel free to ignore..last paragraph doesn't sound wishy washy - you just need to know when to end it...

Then you wont get asked for more specific examples at interview , dont make them up though only use them if you have one!

Say 'I am good at this-here is an example that shows it'

Dont be stressed... applications are a way of asking you to pass a 'compentancy test' - to see if you could in theory 'do the job'...so basically employers are looking for you to tick a number of boxes (but not all of them)... they'll select the people with the most relevant experience for a second test of personality (i.e. do you fit with them) and then sometimes do a third test of compentancy type in more detail (i.e. if two candidates are similar).

So basically all they want to know is 1. can you do the job 2. do you have proof you can do the job...

Proof is more than experience though - thats why specific examples are good - it shows you've really thought about what they are after and you meet it!

Don't be daunted Sally - you haven't done it before, that doesn't mean you're not cut out for it, it just means it's currently a bit outside your comfort zone.

They want someone who can get across the fact they can do the job, not someone who can create the perfect application form. Sounding good on paper is just a means to an end, a foot in the door - it's YOU that will get you the job, not the application form.

By the way, there has been a lot of media speculation today about Robbie on X Factor, and his rather 'high' demeanor. Glad it wasn't just me that thought so! (That bit wasn't particularly in relation to the above, lol!)

I have no idea hence why i just watching the conversation
i would probably just put i like sticking and gluing and making stuff with pipe cleaners cause i knows nothing about working in a school, i had a bad enough job doing my personal statement for uni that took me 2 months :eek:

You are right Bunny...lets hope the outcome is as good too
